Color is an essential aspect of a mua's language and skillset. Selecting appropriate colors can have a variety of benefits, such as brightening the complexion, neutralizing unwanted tones, and creating a more youthful look.
In order to do that, it's imperative to comprehend the workings of color and light. This class will give you that comprehension!

Say hello to Steph Vazquez! Steph has been a professional makeup artist for over 20 years and an educator for last 15 years.
She herself has been trained by some of the best artists in the industry such as Charlie Green, Lori Taylor Davis, Steven Aturo, James Vincent, Geoffrey Rodriguez, and has done everything you could possibly do as a makeup artist - from fashion shows and editorial work, to regional training director for major brands.
Steph saw the need for a different kind of makeup studio and school in the world today. And she's made it her mission to make makeup education approachable and accessible for everyone and to eliminate the intimidation that can come with doing make makeup (whether it's your own, or someone else's).

Can I really learn makeup effectively from online classes?
Yes, 100%! And any artist that tells you otherwise has either never taken an online class, or is trying to sell you on an expensive, in-person class.
Our online classes will walk you through the theory and provide you with detailed, up-close demo's to help you learn. But the most important aspect of any makeup class (whether online or in person), is putting into practice what you learn - and you can do that from anywhere!
I've always dreamed of being a makeup artist, but I don't have much experience. Is this going to be too advanced for me?
Not at all! We understand that starting as a makeup artist can be overwhelming, especially with limited experience.
The Academy covers both the fundamentals for beginners as well as advanced techniques for artists with more experience.
And proper training not only helps you avoid common mistakes but also accelerates your career progression. As a beginner, we're here to support you on your journey, ensuring you're well-prepared to make your dream a reality!
I'm a working makeup artist with experience already. Will the classes be too basic for me?
Our program is designed for all skill levels! The feedback we consistently get from working artists who have attended Stephanie's in-person classes, is how blown away they are and the depth of knowledge and skill they gain.
If you're still not sure if the academy is right for you, you can contact us directly and we'd be happy to chat with you and give you our honest assessment.
We also offer a 7-day free trial, so you can try it out and see if it's a good fit for your skill level.
Will I get access the full program when I join?
Not at this time. This is the first time we are offering the classes in an online format, so a new class will be released every two weeks beginning on November 15, 2023.
However, as long as you are a member (or if you've purchased the Lifetime Pass), you will have unlimited access to all classes and can work at whatever pace works best for you.
Do I need to have a complete makeup kit for the program?
Having a complete makeup kit is not mandatory, but is helpful, especially if you would like to submit your work for feedback.
However, you can always watch the classes to give you a good working knowledge, then submit your work for feedback as you grow your kit.
Do I have to submit my work for feedback?
Not all at. We just wanted to make sure that those who would like to, have the option.
How long will I have to complete the program?
If you purchase the Membership Pass, you'll have unlimited access to all the resources as long as your membership is active. Meaning you can work through the material at whatever pace is best for you, and you can revisit the classes and resources whenever you need a refresher.
If you purchase the Lifetime Pass, you'll always have lifetime access to the program. Meaning you can work through the material at whatever pace is best for you, and you can revisit the classes and resources whenever you need a refresher.
Do you offer a free trial?
Yes, we offer a 7-day free trial.
Can I purchase individual classes?
Not at this time, but we are working on offering individual payment options for each class.
